France bans ketchup: National disgrace

October 7, 2011 at 5:38 pm

File this one under “things that would never happen in America”! According to world news blog “Gawker”, France has banned ketchup from its schools and universities.

Even students who bring their own ketchup from home will be apprehended and severely punished.

One of the things that makes America great is that we allow people to make their own choices each and every day.

The American Government would never think to interfere in a decision as personal as putting ketchup on a cheeseburger with some nice tater tots. And if they did, the offending politicians would be immediately voted out of office.

The French people should rise up and tell their government that this is not acceptable. Did they even think of the impact that this would have on the tomato farmers?

Could you imagine your child’s cafeteria meal without ketchup? Leave us a note in the comments.

Have something to say about it?
