Bengals Watch: Bills vs. Bengals: Preview: Tales of the Tape

The 3-0 Buffalo Bills are coming to town for one of their toughest contests yet as they play our hometown Bengals in Cincinnati this week.

The matchup I’m most interested in is how the Bills plan to stop Cedric Benson (hint: they won’t!). No one has held Benson to under 3.7 yards a carry so far this season, so I suspect the Bengals to continue their success running the ball against a Bills front seven that is still missing Paul Posluzny, who left in free agency.

It will also be interesting to see Andy Dalton continue to grow. Some fans were concerned when the Bengals drafted Dalton to replace the pathetic excuse for a quarterback we used to have (I’ve forgotten his name already).

So far Dalton’s been looking like a stronger armed Boomer Esiason, and I look forward to seeing how he attacks the Bills secondary.

Fantasy Football Note: Everyone has been asking me about Cedric Benson’s alleged suspension. It is being widely reported that he is appealing his suspension and therefore will be playing in this game and all subsequent games.
